Professor Tan Thiam Soon

Professor Tan Thiam Soon is the President-designate of Singapore Institute of Technology. He used to assist the Provost in setting educational directions and policies for the National University of Singapore in ensuring high academic standards and education quality assurance. Prof Tan is currently a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His past positions include Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Programmes in the Faculty of Engineering, and later Dean of Admissions from 2005 to 2007.

Professor Heng Chye Kiang

Professor Heng Chye Kiang is the Dean of School of Design and Environment (SDE) at the National University of Singapore. In 2009, he set up the Centre for Sustainable Asian Cities at SDE, of which he is the current advisor. He studied architecture at the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture, and urban design at the Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de I’Etat. He did his PhD at the University of California at Berkeley.

Professor Ng Wun Jern

Professor Ng Wun Jern graduated with BSc (Civil Engineering – QMC-London University), MSc (Water Resources Engineering) and PhD (Birmingham University), and had postdoctoral training at Kyoto University. He is a licensed professional engineer.He researches water and wastewater management issues such as water quality, and treatment science and technology. He argues for a sustainable approach to environmental management through energy recovery.

Mr. Khoo Teng Chye

Mr. Khoo Teng Chye is the Executive Director for Centre for Liveable Cities since July 2010.  He is the Chairman of Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd and sits on the Boards of Tropical Marine Science Institute of National University of Singapore and the International Desalination Association. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee and Adjunct Professor for the Nanyang Technological University School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, a member of the International Advisory Panel for the Institute of Water Policy and the Adjunct Professor under the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He is also a Board member of Singbridge International Private Limited.
